Public Works for Chippewas of the Thames First
Nation
Public works
mission:
Working together to
maintain services to the First Nation through safe, healthy and environmental
awareness.
Includes Roads,
Water, Wastewater, Band Properties, (maintenance of buildings, cemeteries).
Roads Department is
yearly a operation to maintain existing roads within the First Nation.
Maintenance
involves shouldering, gravelling, drainage, road signage, snow removal,
culverts, sand & salt to road surfaces.
Chippewa has three
full time employees, operation and maintenance of heavy equipment.

water, flushing of distribution system.
