This is a

Seniors
As a Qualifying
Member of Chippewas of the Thames First Nation and 65 years of age or older,
you are entitled to receive monthly ISF payments as additional income support
according to the Big Bear Creek Trust Agreement dated February 2nd 2013.
ISF payments are scheduled to begin on April 15th 2013 and will
repeat every 15th day of each month thereafter. The ISF
payments are considered a non-taxable income in Canada.
ISF
payments must be processed via Electronic Funds
Transfer (EFT DIRECT DEPOSIT) into your bank account unless you can provide
supporting documentation explaining why an EFT DIRECT DEPOSIT into your bank
account would produce undue hardship on you.

Please be advised
that the ratification vote recently held on Saturday March 23rd was in favor of
a net settlement with Canada over the Big Bear Creek land claim for
$119,235,928.00 and in favor of the Big Bear Creek Trust Agreement dated
February 2nd 2013.
As a Qualifying
Member of Chippewas of the Thames First Nation you are entitled to a Per Capita
Distribution (PCD) of $7,500 as per the Big Bear Creek Trust Agreement dated
February 2nd 2013.
A Qualifying Member
is defined as follows in the Big Bear Creek Trust Agreement dated February 2nd 2013
“Qualifying Member” means a Member that was both a Member and alive during the
period from the day the written offer was received from Canada (March 27, 2012)
and the day of the vote (March 23, 2013) and who has reached the age of twenty
one or has reached the age of 18 and graduated from high school or local equivalent,
whichever occurs first.
In order to receive
your PCD payment, please fill out the attached blue from CF001 if
you reside in Canada or the green form CF002 if you
reside in the USA and return by mail to:
